Tenosaya: A dinner party to enjoy the bounty of autumn

This is a ticket for the " Tenosaya Autumn Blessings Enjoyment " dinner event, a collaboration between the Minami-Aoyama Japanese restaurant "Tenoshima" and the Mitosaya Herb Garden Distillery, which will be held for three days from October 12th to 14th.

We would like you to experience the rich blessings and fascinating people we have encountered on Teshima, the Seto Inland Sea, and Minami Boso through food, sake, and tea in our light-filled greenhouse.

In addition, to coincide with the "Tenosaya Autumn Blessings Enjoyment Event," we have prepared a special accommodation plan at "MUJI BASE OIKAWA," which will open in Otaki Town on October 1st. For more information, please click here.

Course Content

Appetizer: Grape with Shiraae (Japanese tofu dressing) Hachisun (Assortment of herb garden dishes) Appetizer: Simmered sashimi marinated in citrus vinegar Soup: Jerusalem artichoke and spiny lobster dumplings Steamed dish: Steamed fish with turmeric and garnished with pickles with the scent of pittosporum Grilled dish: Wild boar wrapped in fig leaves and grilled in salt crust with Hontaka chili pepper moromi miso sauce Rice: Sushi and noodle soup Dessert: Persimmon yokan and mitosaya rum raisin ice cream (There is no appetizer or grilled dish during the lunch session)

Each course includes a drink pairing.
You can choose between alcoholic and non-alcoholic pairings.

Tenoshima

This is a Japanese restaurant located in Minami Aoyama that opened in 2018. With the Japanese culinary techniques he learned in Kyoto and the knowledge and sensibilities he honed abroad, he faces his hometown, the Seto Inland Sea, and aims to reach his roots in Teshima, an isolated island in Kagawa Prefecture.

  • ・Children aged 8 and over will be served the same course meal as adults, without pairing.   • ・Those who participate in the evening session will not be able to return home by public transportation, so please come by car or use nearby accommodation. We can also arrange for staff to pick you up and drop you off. We recommend that you make reservations early as the Otaki Castle Festival will be held on October 12th and 13th.

Appetizer: Grape tofu paste
Hachisun: Assorted dishes from the mitosaya's garden
Mukozuke: mitosaya citrus vinegared sashimi
Nimono soup: surinagashi with chrysanthemum and lobster dumpling
Steamed dish: Steamed fish with turmeric
Served with pickled tobera with aroma of tobera
Grilled dish:Grilled wild boar wrapped in fig leaves in a salted rice oven
Served with Honkaku chili pepper molasses miso sauce
Rice: Sushi and hot somen noodles
Water: persimmon yokan with mitosaya rum raisin ice cream
(There will be no mukozuke or yakimono for the lunchtime course.)

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic pairings are available for each course.

Tennoshima

This Japanese restaurant in Minami Aoyama opened in 2018. With the techniques of Japanese cuisine learned in Kyoto and the knowledge and sensibility honed abroad, we are facing the Seto Inland Sea, our hometown, and aiming for our own roots on the remote island of “Tenoshima” in Kagawa Prefecture.
