今年の初夏にみんなで収穫した大多喜町産の梅と、山梨県笛吹市一宮町の岩間農園の白桃をあわせてジャムに。梅と桃は、同じバラ科の植物であり、親戚のようなものでもあり相性も抜群です。

梅の強い存在感の中にも、しっかりと残る、白桃の特有の甘い香り。無農薬レモンピールも食感のアクセントに加え一層爽やかで香りの楽しいジャムに仕上がりました。

パンやヨーグルトはもちろん、お肉料理やお魚料理に添えていただくのもおすすめです。

This jam is made from ume plums harvested by everyone in Otaki Town this early summer and white peaches from Iwama Farm in Ichinomiya Town, Fuji City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Ume plums and peaches are both members of the Rosaceae family, making them close relatives with excellent compatibility.  

Despite the strong presence of the ume plums, the distinctive sweet aroma of the white peaches remains prominent. The addition of pesticide-free lemon peel as a textural accent further enhances the jam's refreshing and aromatic appeal.

It pairs well with bread and yogurt, and is also recommended as an accompaniment to meat and fish dishes.
