Moromi sauce, which was started to utilize the moromi left over from the production of distilled alcohol, has become a staple at mitosaya. The plums harvested at the end of June have already been used to make the alcohol, and we were able to receive a moromi full of fruitiness and the umami of fermentation.

The umami of koji has been added to bring out greater depth, and our own grape vinegar gives it a mellow acidity.

It is ideal for marinating meat, making it tender and full of flavor, and can also be used as a sauce to pour over fried foods, or mixed with oil to use as a salad dressing.

Please keep it in your refrigerator as an accent for your daily cooking.
