伊豆半島のほぼ中央に位置する、高品質なわさびの産地で知られる中伊豆の地蔵堂の本わさびを使ったスピリッツです。茎は深く濃い緑色をし、葉の付け根の部分は赤っぽい根茎が特徴の本わさびには、力強い辛さの中にほんのりした甘み、そして爽やかな香りがあり、また葉や茎にも若々しい刺激があります。

根と茎・葉で10キロ、根の部分はていねいにすりおろし、ライススピリッツに漬け込みます。3ヶ月間浸漬した後に蒸留。

鮮烈×強烈な刺激の組み合わせに、映画「犬ヶ島」の敵側の最終兵器 WASABI POISONに劣らぬ実験作の完成。ワサビ ポア-ゾンと名付けました。

ストレートはもちろん、ソーダで割れば和食との相性も抜群です。また、カクテルのアクセントや料理の香り付けとしてもお楽しみいただけます。

This is a spirit made with premium wasabi from Jizodo, a region in Naka-Izu located near the center of the Izu Peninsula, known for producing high-quality wasabi. Characterized by its deep, vibrant green stems and reddish rhizomes at the base of the leaves, this wasabi delivers a bold spiciness with subtle sweetness and a refreshing aroma. Its leaves and stems also offer a youthful sharpness.

Over 10 kilograms of grated wasabi, including the roots, stems, and leaves, are infused into rice spirits. After a slow and thorough infusion process, the mixture is distilled to create a spirit that combines vivid and intense stimulation.

Inspired by the ultimate weapon "WASABI POISON" from the movie Isle of Dogs, we named this experimental creation Wasabi Poizon. Enjoy it straight, or mix it with soda for a perfect pairing with Japanese cuisine. It also works well as a cocktail twist or as an aromatic addition to your cooking.
