SPRING HONEY

This honey is harvested on the mitosaya premises.

Mitosaya is made up of flowers from a variety of plants that bloom according to the change of seasons, so all of the nectar is called multi-floral nectar. In order to collect nectar efficiently, honeybees share information about nearby locations where high-quality nectar can be found.
Currently, there are four groups of hives located in a cool location on the mountain side.

From spring to early summer, when the plants on the premises all bloom at once, the bees are also active and you can hear and see their buzzing in various places. Together with Asao, a local beekeeper, we help out by inspecting the hives and harvesting honey, all wearing unfamiliar protective clothing.

This year, mitosaya's beekeeping activities have been off to a good start. This is mitosaya's spring honey, harvested on June 11th. It has a floral flavor that includes nectar from cherry blossoms and citrus fruits. This is a natural honey that you can enjoy with its light color and smooth taste.

This honey is collected on the premises of MITOSAYA.
The bees share information about nearby places where good quality nectar can be collected in order to collect it efficiently.Currently, four groups of hives are located in a cool area on the mountain side.

In spring and early summer, when all the plants on the property are in full bloom, the bees are actively flying around, and can be heard and seen in various places. We, along with Mr. Asao, a local beekeeper, help with hive inspections, honey collection, and other tasks, dressed in protective clothing that we are not accustomed to.

This year's mitosaya beekeeping activity is off to a good start, and here is a sample of mitosaya spring honey taken on June 11. It has a floral flavor with hints of cherry and citrus nectar. The light color and light flavor of this natural honey can be enjoyed.
