The first color to announce spring in the garden is yellow. Here and there, the flowers of the Chinese quince begin to bloom like fires in the dark shade of the trees, and the yellow plum blossoms decorate the walkway. Before I knew it, I could see buds sprouting here and there, including the newly born shoots of the dogwood and the branches of cherry blossoms I had picked last year. I gathered up the lovely plants of this time of year and made tea to commemorate this fleeting season.
This is a richly fragrant blended tea based on TEHANDEL jasmine tea, which I love for its gentle sweetness.

I notice buds sprouting here and there, newborn shoots of dogtooth vines and branches of cherry trees that I picked up last year. I gathered these lovely plants of this season and made a tea of this fleeting season.
