Have you heard of the plant Mitsuba Hamago? It belongs to the mint family and is also known as purpurea or carrot paw. The underside of its greyish leaves is a beautiful light purple color. It has a very unique scent, and it is said that the word "hama-ko" comes from the act of burning the leaves and offering the smoke to Buddha. As time passes, we gradually become accustomed to these peculiar scents and unique flavors.
This luxurious syrup is made without using any water, using only the bitter juice of summer mandarins from the garden. The sweet and bitter scent of Hamagou and the refreshing woody scent of Iromoji.
In the light, fluffy spring air, the taste of this syrup is heavy and slightly bitter. It's the perfect taste for this exciting season.
It is also delicious with carbonated water, ice, or hot water.

It has a very unique fragrance, and is said to be derived from the word "hama-ko," meaning "fragrant incense," which was created by burning the leaves and offering the fragrant smoke to the Buddha.
