mitosayaの庭を見守るようにそびえる大きな二本の杜仲の木。周りでは古木になっていく木もある中で、毎年その立派な姿は変わらずに青々と葉を茂らせてくれます。
夏の間に収穫していた青い葉を銅鍋でじっくりと焙じました。
薬草園の同じくシンボルツリーでもある肉桂の葉と掘り出した根に加えて、春に咲いたばかりの梅、完熟のカブスの皮。どの材料も、mitosayaを代表する植物。
杜仲の青々しい独特の薬草感に、シナモンの甘くもすっきりとした香り、梅、カブスの華やかな香り。時間を追う事に立ち上る香りの変化をお楽しみください。

Two large eucommia trees tower over the garden at mitosaya. While some of the trees around us are growing old, their magnificent appearance remains unchanged every year, with lush green leaves.
The green leaves, which were harvested during the summer, are slowly roasted in a copper pot.
In addition to the leaves and dug-out roots of the meat tree, which is also the symbolic tree of the medicinal herb garden, freshly bloomed plums and ripe kabusu peels in the spring. All of the ingredients are plants that represent mitosaya.
The unique, green herbal flavor of eucommia, the sweet but clean aroma of cinnamon, and the gorgeous fragrance of plum and kabusu. Please enjoy the changes in aroma as time goes by.
