TOSO

Sales start from 10:00 on Sunday, December 17th

Mitosaya's original toso has become an annual tradition.

Take a closer look Tososan comes in a bag. Powdered medicinal herbs. It was a medicinal herb garden. Mitosaya also has many medicinal herbs, and we thought it would be a good idea to use them, so we started our own "TOSO". We collect medicinal herbs that can be used in toso-san for each season, dry them, and collect them diligently. It's interesting that the contents are slightly different every year, and the appearance and finish of the toso-san is unique to this year.

First, take the herbs out of the bag and listen to the scent of each one. Each one has its own unique scent. You can tear them or put them in as is, and place them in a pitcher, pot, or other container for toso. You can use your favorite alcohol, such as light sake or dry wine. Prepare some delicious mirin or other sake and pour it into the container to the brim.

It is usually prepared on New Year's Eve, left overnight, and then strained and drunk on the morning of New Year's Day, but it can be left to steep for just a few hours, so prepare it at the perfect time for your toast. You can also enjoy it like vermouth.
I think this slightly unusual TOSO would make a great souvenir.

This is mitosaya's original tokoso, which has become an annual tradition.

The most common form is a powdery bag containing a number of medicinal herbs, which we started to make use of in our own way. We started our own "TOSO / Slaughterhouse" project. We collect medicinal herbs of each season that could be used for the slaughterhouse, dry them, and collect them.

It is interesting to note that the contents of the herbs are slightly different from year to year, and the appearance and finish of the toso are unique to this year's product.

First, take out the herbs from the bag and smell each one. Each has its own unique aroma. Place the herbs in a jug, pot, or other container for the tokoso. Sake is your choice: a refreshing sake, a dry wine, or a delicious mirin. You can also prepare a delicious mirin (sweet sake), etc., and pour it into that container in a lukewarm stream.

Usually, the herbs are prepared on New Year's Eve, left to soak overnight, and strained on the morning of New Year's Day before drinking. This unusual TOSO will be a welcome souvenir.
