A sugarcane farmer in Isumi City brought us some freshly squeezed sugarcane juice that day. We immediately put it on the fire and slowly boiled it down, turning the fresh green liquid into a rich, thick molasses.

This molasses, which contains no added sugar or water, is simmered thoroughly with a generous amount of spices and herbs to create a syrup that is perfect for drinking chai with warm milk.

The addition of cacao nibs gives it a special flavor with a slight chocolate-like aroma.

You can enjoy it with a generous amount or just a spoonful, or mix it with milk to get the strength you like.
