mitosayaの秋の温室では、グアバの黄色い実がまるで星のように枝になって、それがまた、ぼとぼとと落ちてくるのでありまして。。。

毎朝通いつめ、ボウルに少々のグアバを拾い集めて毎回冷凍していると、あっという間にたくさんのグアバが収穫できました。

きれいに洗ってさて袋に、、と、袋を開けた瞬間の香りの印象が、まるでベリーのような甘酸っぱい香り。これはいちごと一緒にジャムにしたら美味しいに違いない。

頭の中だけではわからないこんな組み合わせがぴったりくると、嬉しいものです。

グアバは、可愛らしい見た目とは裏腹のたくさんの種を持っています。食べにくいことこの上ないのですが、でも、この種をかじったときの楽しさも、またあると思っています。

ですのでこのジャムでは、完全に濾しきらない種が一緒に入っています。

カリッと噛んだときはびっくりするかもしれませんが、覚悟して召し上がっていただくとその噛み心地が癖になってくるはずです。

いちごの甘やかとグアバの爽やかでトロピカルな酸味が合わさったジャムになりました。

In the mitosaya's greenhouse in the fall, guava yellow fruits grow on the branches like stars.

The yellow guavas are like stars on the branches and they are falling down.

Every morning I went to the greenhouse, picked up a few guavas in a bowl, and froze them.

I was able to harvest a lot of guavas in no time at all.

I washed them clean and put them in a bag, and the moment I opened the bag, I was struck by the sweet and sour aroma, just like berries.

It smelled sweet and sour, like berries. This must be delicious when made into jam with strawberries.

It is a delight when a combination like this, which you can't figure out only in your head, comes together perfectly.

Despite its pretty appearance, guava has many seeds. Difficult to eat.

But I believe there is also a certain pleasure in biting into these seeds.

So in this jam, the seeds that are not completely strained out are included together.
