CITRUS FLOWER PETAL SYRUP

Many flowers bloom from the citrus trees surrounding the mitosaya garden.

Before you know it, the season has passed in the blink of an eye, so we pick them and make syrup.

Removing the tough pistils and separating out only the petals and pollen-laden stamens is painstaking work, but it's very satisfying to watch the petals gradually change from white to colorless and transparent in the thick syrup while being enveloped in the fragrance.

The aroma of garden citrus is bittersweet yet refreshing, and has a purer flavor than honey.

Add it to yogurt or vanilla ice cream, or just sprinkle a spoonful on chilled baked goods to create a special dessert.

Ingredients: Citrus flowers (summer mandarins, sweet summer oranges, oranges, lemons/mitosaya), granulated sugar, lemon juice
Contents: 90ml
