A symphony of summer zest and bittersweet delight

Limoncello is a traditional liqueur with roots in the Amalfi Coast of Italy. We sought to create the ideal recipe using all domestic ingredients while retaining the bittersweet characteristics of Limoncello with its strong lemon flavor.
First, lemon peel is steeped in low-proof alcohol for a long period of time and distilled. The highly fragrant spirits are then used to steep thinly peeled organic lemons from Kamogawa, Chiba Prefecture. The sweetener is agave sugar, which is characterized by its light sweetness, and the sugar content is reduced by about half, making it not cloyingly sweet but with a good aroma.
In addition, we squeezed lemons from a farm on Mt. Amagi, where the Enoura Weather Observatory is located, in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, and updated the drink to be easy to drink on its own. This limoncello, made from a large number of lemons, is blended with spirits made from thinned Earl's melons from Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, provided by Mikotoya for the Yayakoshiya event.
The addition of a refined cucumber-like greenness creates a liqueur that harmonizes moderate sweetness with a pleasant bitterness, making it reminiscent of the summer sunshine. Enjoy it well chilled, straight, on the rocks, or in a cocktail.

Limoncello is a traditional liqueur with its roots in the Amalfi Coast of Italy. We have explored our ideal recipe using all domestic ingredients while maintaining the characteristics of limoncello, a sweet and bitter liqueur with a strong lemon flavor.
First, lemon peels are soaked in low alcohol for a long time and then distilled. The aromatic spirit is then used to soak the peels of organic lemons from Kamogawa, Chiba Prefecture, which are peeled thinly. Agave sugar, which is characterized by its light sweetness, is used to reduce the sugar content to about half, making it less sweet and more fragrant.
We also squeeze lemons from a farm in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Mt. Amachibana, where the Enoura weather station is located, to give it a modern update that makes it easy to drink on its own. The mitosaya Limoncello, born from the collection of many lemons, is further blended with a spirit made from picked earl's melon from Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, which was prepared by Mikotoya for the Yayakoshiya event.
With the addition of a refined cucumber-like greenness, we have created a liqueur that evokes the summer sun with a harmony of moderate sweetness and pleasant bitterness. It can be served straight, well chilled, on the rocks, or in cocktails.
