This is the 2023 version of mitosaya's White Curacao (orange liqueur), made entirely from Japanese citrus fruits.

Kabusu (bitter orange) from mitosaya, sudachi and kabosu from Mikaku and Eguchi Farm in Kumamoto Prefecture, green and fresh hebesu from Nariai Hebesu Farm in Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture, and mandarin oranges from Minami Boso. The names of all the citrus fruits sound good and make you want to take a bite. We have blended the peel spirits of these five kinds of citrus fruits.

In 1849, the French brothers Cointreau invented a less sweet white curacao and labeled it Triple-Sec (three times drier) in contrast to the overly sweet liqueurs that had been available up until then. Since then, Triple Sec has become synonymous with white curacao. However, we still find it too sweet.

CINQ SEC has a slightly higher alcohol content, but is less sweet. A soft aroma rises when poured into a glass. Made with organic agave sugar, which is characterized by its smooth sweetness, this sake offers a drier, more fragrant, layered, and soft flavor of Japanese citrus.

Drink it straight or on the rocks. It can also be used in sweets and cocktails.

This is the 2023 version of mitosaya's White Curaçao (orange liqueur), made entirely from Japanese citrus fruits.

The name of each citrus fruit sounds good and makes you want to taste it: kabusu (bitter orange) from mitosaya, sudachi and kabosu from Eguchi Farm in Mikado, Kumamoto Prefecture, green and fresh hebesu from Nariai Hebesu Garden in Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture, and mikan from Minamiboso, Japan. We blended the peel spirits of these five citrus fruits.

In 1849, the French Cointreau brothers invented a less sweet white curacao and named it Triple-Sec (triple dry) in contrast to the sweet liqueurs of the past, and since then it has become synonymous with white curacao. We feel it is still too sweet.

CINQ SEC has a higher slightly content alcohol and is therefore less sweet. It has a soft aroma that rises when poured into a glass. Enjoy the layered, soft flavor of Japanese citrus fruits, drier and more fragrant, made with organic agave sugar, which is characterized by its light sweetness.
