The first product in the MITOSAYA ALIVE BASIC CONDIMENTS (ABC) series is a spicy Worcestershire sauce made from the mash left over from distilling alcohol. Two varieties are available: Le Lectier mash and Navel mash.
This versatile sauce has a perfect balance of the mild acidity of Le Lectier's mash and spices. Enjoy it on fried or grilled dishes.
This is the mash that remains during the distillation process of alcohol made from Kumamoto's pesticide-free navel oranges, but it has a strong orange fruit flavor and a rich aroma and taste. With the addition of plenty of spices, it has become a refreshing citrus Worcestershire sauce.
Its smooth texture makes it refreshing when poured over fried foods, and it is also recommended as a finishing touch to simple dishes such as steamed vegetables and boiled chicken.
This year too, we have been able to make distilled liquor from the figs we receive every year from Kawajima Town, Saitama Prefecture. The mash that results from this distillation is used to make ABC's Worcestershire sauce.
The complex flavor of figs born during the brewing process and the deliciousness of the fruit created by fermentation support the deliciousness of the sauce. Worcestershire sauce, which is sweet and sour and has a strong spice flavor, is best used casually on fried foods, grilled foods, and raw vegetables. This Worcestershire sauce is unlike any other, with the subtle popping of fig seeds.

MITOSAYA's ALIVE BASIC CONDIMENTS (ABC) is a new line of seasonings that we consider to be like the traditional Japanese basic seasonings "Sa shi su se so." Each seasoning can be used not only as a basic ingredient for cooking, but also as a fresh, natural component that brings dishes to life. ABC is based on the following three principles:
We use ingredients grown in-house and locally sourced produce to preserve the natural flavors of our food. We also make effective use of these ingredients by utilizing the technology we have developed in food processing and liquor production.
We pursue a balanced flavor and taste that can be used in a variety of dishes, aiming for simple and easy-to-use products.
We collaborate with local producers and welfare support groups to revitalize the community and contribute to society, while at the same time minimizing environmental impact by manufacturing in a sustainable manner.
We asked "Pier Miyashiki," a welfare support group in Isumi City, to produce this Worcestershire sauce, which is also used for straw processing in our rye straw "STRAW STRAW.

Le Leccier:
This easy-to-use sauce has a perfect balance between the soft acidity of Le Lectier's Moromi and spices. Serve over fried or baked dishes.
Navel Orange:
This mash is left over from the distillation process of sake made with pesticide-free navels from Kumamoto, but it retains the fruitiness of the orange and has a full aroma and flavor. The addition of plenty of spices results in a refreshing citrus Worcestershire sauce.
The light texture makes it a refreshing sauce to pour over fried foods, and we also recommend pouring it over steamed vegetables, boiled chicken, and other simple dishes.
