VIN de MICHINOKU is a wine made from grapes harvested in six Tohoku prefectures, which was launched in 2014 with the concept of "never forgetting the Great East Japan Earthquake." CASK DE MICHINOKU is made using the grape mash left over from squeezing the 2023 VIN de MICHINOKU.

The wine that has completed alcoholic fermentation is decubed overnight by gravity alone from the tank, resulting in a fruity Fine wine that arrives from Takeda Winery in Yamagata.
It was distilled in five batches at mitosaya in December 2023 and then aged for 16 months in small French oak barrels.
It has a woody, sweet and mellow aroma reminiscent of vanilla, a pleasant freshness in the mouth, and a rich aroma reminiscent of grape skin that lingers in the aftertaste.

For dilution, we use natural water collected from the mountainside of Kamaishi, Iwate Prefecture, also in the Tohoku region. Because it is not filtered, it may be slightly cloudy depending on the temperature.

Although it is a small amount, we release it every year. Please take your time and enjoy it while you have a conversation.

VIN de MICHINOKU is a wine made from mixed grapes from six prefectures in the Tohoku region, launched in 2014 under the concept of "Never forget the East Japan Earthquake.
CASK de MICHINOKU is made from the mash of grapes after the pressing of VIN de MICHINOKU.

The wine is decubed by gravity alone overnight to take the wine out of the tank after alcoholic fermentation, so the fruity finesse comes from Takeda Winery in Yamagata.
After distillation in mitosaya, the wine was aged for 16 months in French oak barrels.
It has a woody, vanilla-like sweet and mellow aroma, a pleasant freshness on the palate, and a full aroma of grape skins in the aftertaste.

Natural water from the mountainside in Kamaishi, Iwate Prefecture, also in Tohoku, is used for dilution. Since the water is unfiltered, there may be a thin cloudiness depending on the temperature.

We release this product every year, so please take your time and enjoy it alongside your conversation.
