良い香りがどことなく漂ってきて、あたりを見回すと、スイカズラの花が咲いているのです。蔓性の植物で他の木に覆いかぶさるように大きく茂るたくましさからは裏腹に、スイカズラの花の香りは深呼吸してしまうような甘く繊細で、なんとなく懐かしいような感覚に満たされます。毎日少しづつ咲くため、摘み集めて濃厚なシロップにしました。花の成分を全て閉じ込めたまるで蜂蜜のような仕上がり。そのままヨーグルトやアイスにかけて。お茶に一匙、炭酸水などで希釈して優しい甘さのドリンクとしても。
