「COFFEE ABSOLUTE」は、抽出後のコーヒー豆に残された豊かな香りを、アルコールへの浸漬と蒸留によって引き出したスピリッツです。高品質なコーヒー缶を作るCAN-PANYのプロジェクト「SCC（Specialty Coffee Can）」と、東京・蔵前のロースタリー「Coffee Wrights」の共作により誕生しました。

使用した豆は、エチオピア・イルガチェフェの「ゲルシ」で育まれたシングルオリジン。天日乾燥（ナチュラルプロセス）を経て、人の手で丁寧に撹拌され、フレッシュな状態で届いた希少な豆です。グレープやトロピカルフルーツを思わせるカラフルな印象にかすかなスパイシーさ、最後には心地よい甘さがあります。

お湯で抽出した後のコーヒー豆には、まだ7割以上の成分が残っていると言われています。その役目を終えたはずの豆から、蒸留という工程を経ることで、コーヒー特有の苦味を抑え、華やかな香り、スパイス感、そして長く続く甘い余韻を丁寧にすくい上げました。

食後酒としてデザートとともに。ロックで味わえば、華やかな香りが広がり、心地よくリフレッシュさせてくれます。また、 カクテルにコーヒーの香りと奥行きを加えたい時にもどうぞ。

“Coffee Absolute” is a spirit that captures the rich aroma remaining in spent coffee grounds through alcohol infusion and distillation. It is a collaboration between CAN-PANY’s “SCC (Specialty Coffee Can)” project and Coffee Wrights, a roastery in Kuramae, Tokyo. The beans are a single origin from Gersi in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, naturally processed and carefully handled before arriving fresh. They carry notes reminiscent of grape and tropical fruits, with a subtle spice and a gentle sweetness. It is said that more than 70% of the compounds remain in coffee grounds after brewing. Through distillation, we recover these elements while reducing bitterness, drawing out floral aromatics, spice, and a long, sweet finish. Enjoy as a digestif with dessert. Served on the rocks, it opens up with aromatic clarity. It also works well for adding depth and coffee character to cocktails.
