千葉市美術館で開催中の展覧会『とある美術館の夏休み 』にmitosayaが出展しています。
千葉市美術館所蔵作品とさまざまな表現者とのコラボレーションを通して、美術館という場所そのものを見つめ直すという展覧会。
その当時に自分がいたらどうするだろうかと考え、身の回りの道具を用いた樽型蒸留器を制作しました。
さらに、植物図譜に描かれたボタニカルを用いて、3種のお酒を制作。
mitosayaの温室を模した展示構成は、 new service（西舘朋央＋Rondade）によるものです。
展示やショップなどバラエティのある内容で夏休み感あります。

mitosaya is participating in the exhibition "Summer Vacation at a Certain Art Museum" at Chiba City Museum of Art.
The exhibition aims to rethink the museum itself through collaboration between various artists and artworks from the collection of the Chiba City Museum of Art.
Inspired by botanical illustrations published in the Edo and Meiji periods, mitosaya created a barrel distiller using everyday tools, based on what we would have done if we had been around at that time.
In addition, three types of eau de vies were made using the botanicals depicted in the botanicals.
The exhibition structure, which mimics the greenhouse at mitosaya, was created by new service (Tomoo Nishidate + Rondade).
The variety of exhibits and stores will give you a sense of summer vacation.
