The brand creates timeless workwear designed to be worn as everyday clothing. Alongside its regular seasonal collections, Handwerker also collaborates with people in different professions each season to create clothing specifically designed for their work.\nThis project began with a simple request: to create workwear for the everyday tasks at mitosaya. After numerous discussions and prototypes, the result is a versatile garment made from Bizen Ichigo, a densely woven cotton twill. The fabric is produced at a long-established canvas mill in Okayama using traditional shuttle looms. Though exceptionally durable, it has a supple, smooth texture and a subtle, elegant sheen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWorn in its usual orientation, it functions as a long apron that covers much of the body. Turned around, it transforms into a tool vest equipped with numerous pockets. It is a garment with a slightly unconventional form, seemingly designed for a specific purpose yet open to many possibilities.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSuitable for working in the distillery or garden, as well as serving customers or heading out, its appearance changes depending on how it is worn and what it is paired with.
